Q1.What are the academic entry requirements?
Ans:-There are no compulsory requirements. If however, you have no formal qualifications do not be put off as some of our best students have been in the same position.
Q2.Does the academy accept outstation students?
Ans:-Yes. We are happy to receive students from anywhere in the India. Approximately 25-30% of our students come from outstation.
Q3.How do I go about finding accommodation?
Ans:-We help out station students to get accommodation in and near the academy at reasonable rates.
Q4.Do I need to be able to play a musical instrument?
Ans:-No. It possibly helps to be musical, but is by no means essential.
Q5.What is the average age and typical background of your students?
Ans:-Music is for everyone. Students from all ages and backgrounds can enroll for our courses. Some have absolutely no previous experience while others have already been employed as DJs. People choose to get train with us for variety of reasons, including kick-starting, consolidating or changing their career.
Q6.Is the fee refundable Or transferable?
Ans:-Students are entitled to a full refund as long as the cancellation is made at least ten days before the course is due to start. No refunds & transfer can be made if cancellations are made within seven days of the start of the course or once the course has commenced.
Q7.Do you give certificate after completion of the course?
Ans:-Yes, we give Certificate after the successful completion of the course.
Q8.What is the duration of the course?
Ans:-Each course is designed, keeping in mind the maximum time that can be required by any individual and this duration does not include the time spent for practice and thus it totally depends on individual's capability to grasp and perform.
Q9.What if I have doubts after my classes how can it be addressed?
Ans:-You can contact the instructors at DJING HUB anytime after the session and they’ll be more than willing to answer any questions or address your issue.
Q10.Do you have the facility for training the dj's at their home? What are the arrangements that need to be done if I opt for the same?
Ans:-Yes we do have the facility for home tuition; the details can be discussed on one to one basis, however the course fee may vary. For details contact DJING HUB.
Q11.Do I need my own equipment to take the course?
Ans:-No, you don't need to buy equipment for the course DJING HUB offers dedicated practice times where students are allowed to use our equipment. However, practice is key to all our courses, and if you plan on continuing these pursuits, we recommend purchasing the necessary software or equipment.
Q12.Can I begin working as a DJ immediately after I finish the course?
Ans:-Yes, you can begin working as a DJ immediately after you finish the course, we do give you opportunities to play and assist at the gigs as it totally depends on you and your passion for music.
Q13.Can you arrange to provide with special sessions at schools or colleges anywhere in India?
Ans:-Yes, we can, The organizer needs to give the confirmed number of attendees and arrange for Travel, accommodations, a classroom type facility, small P.A. System, microphone and rest all the details can be discussed.
Q14.How do I enroll in and pay for classes?
Ans:-Make an appointment with the academy to come in. Pay by cash, cheque or demand draft.
Q15.I have experience. Do I need to start at Basic Level ?
Ans:-We strongly recommend that all students build a solid foundation in both Djing and Music Production beginning with concepts introduced in Level 1. However, we can arrange instructor evaluations for enrollment in higher levels upon request.
Q16.What do I get upon completion of my course?
Ans:-Students completing a course will have an opportunity to take a school administered exam for DJING HUB Producer/Dj Certificate. The certificate would acknowledge the successful completion of our personal enrichment program. You will also leave with several finished tracks as part of the short album you developed during the course.
Q17.Will you get me a job after I finish?
Ans:-DJING HUB is a school for personal enrichment, not a vocational institute so we do NOT offer job placement after your program. Our instructor’s help you discover and fine tune your creative vision, mentoring you to grow as an artist. Students are also encouraged to collaborate, network, and take advantage of DJING HUB’S growing community.
